Decided at that very moment to let that song marinate…. let’s record that ALICIA KEYS “EMPIRE STATE”…. just guitars/vocals and of course some KEYS.

HMMMMMM we’ll come back to NEVER LET IT GO another day…. “EMPIRE STATE” cover don’t sound to bad…. LOL.

December 17th my band and a super talented temp replacement drummer came together to lay down the drums, bass and lead guitars on NEVER LET IT GO…. my guitar guy is still fairly new to the project, he’s pretty DOPE with his stuff though…. with the experts @ LUX studios, TIMMY head engineer, my BASSIST John V and yours truly everything sounds awesome…. now we take the PROTOOLS session to my in house Keyboard/Piano/Engineer guy John Z @ his BK studio to put more instruments and vocals to the song, stay tuned.

P.S. Thnx for the sick fat kick LUX…. TIMMY u’re a boss dude!!!!!!

I’ve had some very bad experiences with the sound at some other venues… this is one of my best shows so far.

NEW drummer ADAM, we worked together in 2011 for one show…. happy to have him on board with the project…. super cool and just sick on the drums.

Our new guitar is sounding more and more confident also…. wait till U hear the stuff that this guy is playing…. mean down right mean.

John V…. well needless to say, that boi is always on his A+ game.

 

So we rehearsed some covers songs along with all the originals that’s been on the internet, and some stuff that’s extra brand new…. “NEVER LET IT GO” is sounding more and more like a single…. all is well.
